Postures like warrior pose (virabhadrasana) allows courage to develop and helps in opening up manipura chakra or solar plexus chakra. Whereas, inversions such as the downward dog (adho mukha svanasana) or headstand (sirsasana) help you to open up your seventh chakra sahasrara chakra, which is related to our higher self.
